Welcome to Department of Management Studies
Department of Management Studies was started in M.A.M. College of Engineering in the academic year 2008-2009. Our MBA programme is approved
by AICTE, New Delhi and Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. In the era of technology, doing business in the dynamic, complex world
requires smartness in the business activities and business executives should possess strong fundamental knowledge in the functional domain of
the business. To face the tremendous opportunities and challenges in the business world, students need to equip their mind and knowledge in
the systematic manner.
The emphasis of our MBA programme - in terms of content and methodology - is stimulating budding managers to enquire intelligently about the
nature and scope of management responsibility and to develop an understanding of the critical importance of innovation in successful economies
and the pertinence of the innovation process to organizational parameters for adaptability and change, individual creativity and
multidisciplinary teamwork.
OBJECTIVE

- To ensure the complete development of personality by organizing activities to develop character, leadership qualities and communication skills of students.
- To develop the analytical and strategic management skills of students, using concepts derived from a wide range of academic disciplines, enabling them to respond creatively and effectively to the challenges of the global business environment.
The infrastructure of our MBA programme at MAMCE squeezes hi-tech and well equipped libraries and English language laboratory. Customary
evaluation of teaching methods and in house training to faculties craft the MBA Department to achieve the academic excellence. The mission
to develop professionals with excellence is achievable due to the slam care, discipline and high academic standards, excellent schooling
opportunities, and state of the art infrastructure that are accessible in the MBA Department. It has been budding by leaps and bounds in
imparting value based management education. Our MBA department has the blend of faculties with rich experience in engineering as well as
in administration with exposure in industry.
