A one day FDP on Research and Data Analysis using SPSS was organised on 8, October 2010 in association with SPSS South Asia Pvt. Ltd.

GERENCIA is a management association that organizes Management Meet every year and many colleges actively participate to stage the talents of the students and also to share insights about the recent trends and advancements in the management discipline. Regular guest lectures and workshops are conducted by eminent personalities in the field of Management.

A National Level Management meet, VERMA 2010 was conducted on 25 September 2010 by GERENCIA, the Student Association of the Department of Business Administration. Mr.Senthil Annamalai, MD, Vishnuram Textiles Pvt.Ltd., Trichy, inaugurated and Mr.T.H.Radha Krishnan, Station Manager, Air India, Trichy, distributed Prizes on the occasion. MBA students from 30 colleges in the nation participated in the various events of the meet.

The BIG BOSS (Best Manager) award of VERMA 2010 was won by JJ College of Engineering and Technology, Trichy.

The FRAGESPORT (Business Quiz) award of VERMA 2010 was won by Hallmark Business School, Trichy. St. Joseph's College, Trichy and Sri Sai Ram Institute of Management, Chennai. secured second and third places respectively.

The VARNA (Variety Event) award of VERMA 2010 was won by Sri Sai Ram Institute of Management, Chennai. Sapthagiri College of Engineering, Dharmapuri, HallMark Business School, Trichy secured Second and Third places respectively.

The Paper Presentation (Emerging Trends in Global Business) award of VERMA 2010 was won by PSG Institute of Management; Coimbatore. Sri Sai Ram College of Engineering; Chennai, Saranathan College of Engineering, Trichy secured second and Third places respectively.

A Seminar on International Manufacturing Practices was conducted by Mr.Sivakumar Jayaram, Manager International Marketing, Hyoh you Enterprise co, ltd-China on 30 December 2009. The event was organized by the Department of Business Administration.

A Seminar on Emerging trends in Advertising was organized by the Department of Business Administration on 22 October 2009. Mr.M.Ramesh Phrabha, Director, Galaxy Communication, Chennai addressed the students and faculties of the Department.
