Mission10X is a Faculty Empowerment Initiative taken by WIPRO Technologies to bridge the gap between Industry and Academia. It focuses on Excellence in Engineering Education through Innovations at the college level. MAM has partnered with WIPRO in making this dream come true in our Institution Mission10X process is carried out with an initial workshop of 5 days followed by a 2 days advanced workshop after 45 days. MAM along with WIPRO has conducted 4 batches of workshops and has empowered 120 faculty members so far. MAM is proud to be associated with WIPRO in this noble venture and has the highest number of Mission10X trained faculty in an Engineering college in India.

          Dr. M A Maluk Mohamed , Principal MAM College of Engineering has undergone a training programme on “Academic Leadership Workshop” conducted by Mission10X team. All Heads of the Departments have Undergone Mission10X training so as to enable them to train young faculty.

      Prof. R. Joshua Arul Kumar, of ECE Department has been appointed as a Master Trainer in WIPRO -Mission10X . He has gone around more than 20 Engineering Colleges and trained around 250 Engineering Faculty in Innovative Teaching Methodology through Mission10X. He was also authorized as a Wipro Certified Mission10X Trainer till Jan 2012.

         MAM also has hosted “Aarumbh” first of its kind in TN and 3 rd in India a unique workshop for training New Faculty along with WIPRO Mission10X teamas a Pilot Project during the month of March.

          The work of faculty members as a result of mission10x Training was presented in the Educators Meet 2010 held on 6 th Sep 2010 at WIPRO headquarters Bangalore and was deeply appreciated by WIPRO and also eminent personalities like Prof. Dr. Natarajan, Former Chairman AICTE and Prof. Dr. N. R. Shetty, Secretary, ISTE, NewDelhi.

          With adequate training MAM is marching ahead as a Model college in preparing Industry Specific students with the help of WIPRO. MAM has also partnered with WIPRO – Mission10X team in a Deeper Engagement thereby striving itself to be the first 100% Mission10X trained College in India.
