FACILITIES
Department is well equipped with VLSI LABORATORY, DSP LABORATORY with Advanced software’s, ELECTRONICS CIRCUITS LAB, DIGITAL LAB, LINEAR INTEGRATED CIRCUITS LAB, MICROWAVE LAB,OPTICAL COMMUNICATION LAB. The Department conducted various Faculty Development programmes in unison with Industries like FALCON, Agilent Technologies etc
The department has an association ACOEL - Association of COmmunicative ELectronics
This association is to enhance the student’s knowledge in the field of electronics and communication
The department has organized number of guest lecturers with people from reputed industries like ISRO, CDAC, etc..

DIGITAL SYSTEM DESIGN LAB
The lab is to provide hands on experience to the students to strengthen their fundamentals in Digital Electronics. The lab is fully equipped with various Digital ICs, components and equipments with latest model Oscilloscopes, Analog and Digital IC Tester, Function Generators, Analog and Digital and LIC Kits etc.
MICROPROCESSOR LAB
The lab is designed such that the students understand the concept of microprocessor and micro controller. The lab is furnished with large number of 8 and 16 bit micro processor trainer kits with PC interfacing and microcontroller.
COMMUNICATION LAB
This lab is designed to give exposure to the students in the field of communication. The lab has imported microwave components operating at X and Y bands to conduct various experiments. Fiber optic experiments, facilities also exist to study various analog and digital modulation techniques and application of phase locked loops. The lab also has provisions to do RF experiments with high sophisticated antenna system RF source etc
ELECTRONICS DEVICES AND CIRCUITS LAB
To provide hands on experiment to the students to strengthen their fundamentals in electronics, the lab is well equipped with all basic electronic equipments like Oscilloscopes, audio signal generator, function generator, power supplies etc and good stock of electronic components of all types.
DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING LAB
The lab is designed to give latest exposure to the students in the field of Digital Signal Processing. The lab has vast infrastructure facilities, which include 33 systems with Pentium-IV-2GHZ-40GB HDD-256 MB SDRAM installed with MAT Lab 7 and Code Composers Studio and LAN Trainer Kits. This lab is fully equipped with latest Digital Storage Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer etc.
VLSI LAB
Today is the era of VLSI. We have VLSI lab with state of art sophisticated tools and kits for design and development. All the thirty systems are installed with Xilinx ISE 7.11 and Modelsim 6.0a with download utility. Implementation is carried out by using Xilinx and it is verified by Spartan II device of the Xilinx FPGA family
