DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES
- The Civil Engineering Association CAPCEAN ( Creative Architecture Planning Civil Engineering Association Nest ) was Inaugurated by Dr.K.Palanichamy, Professor, Civil Engineering , N.I.T, Trichy on 30/08/2010.
- Third year students had undergone Survey Camp from 25.07.2011 to 30.07.2011 [NARTHAMALAI NEAR PUDUKKOTTAI AND THONDAMANTHURAI] near PERAMBALUR.
- Civil Engineering Students Association "CAPCEAN" inaugurated the association on 10 August, 2011 for the academic year 2010-2011 in which Dr.B.N.Krishnaswamy , retd .professor NIT TRICHY delivered key note address
- Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) students chapter inaugural function was held on 12th August,2011 in which Dr.Ashok Kumar was the chief guest & inaugurated the student's chapter and delivered the key note address.
- Concrete Day was celebrated on 7th september ,2011 in which Dr.K.Kumar, Principal, MAMCET delivered a special lecture on latest Concrete technology and also distributed prizes for the winners of cube test and paper presentations.

- R.Sibirajan and C. Vimal Danniel have attended One Day Workshop on "Trends and Techniques" in Concrete pavements for Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chennai on 12.02.2011.
- M.RadhiPriya,R.Anuja, A.Josephin Suganthi,J.Mohamed Umar Khayyam, B.Noore Thariq, S.Sulaiman, R.Balasubramanian, and T.Franklin have attended one day Workshop on Recent Innovation in Concrete construction on 15.02.2011 at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan college, Perambalur.
- S.Baiser Nishar Khan, R.Rajkumar(34), V.selvakumar, T.veluthambi and D.Kishore kumar have attended One-Day Workshop on Town Planning at Oxford Engineering College,Trichy on 21.02.2011.
- G.Vinodhini, A.Josephin Suganthi, R.Anuja, Y.Preethy Dharanya, S. Nandhini, F.Elin Manju Preethi, P.Vijayalakshmi, R.Balasubramaniyan, R.Thiyagarajan, T.Syed Usman and R.Rajkumar have attended One-Day Workshop by "CEATRON'2011" on 03.04.2011 at Hotel Maya's Trichy for Civil Engineers.
- M.Radhi Priya and G.Vinodhini secured 3rd prize in the My Idea Programme a technical event conducted by P.S.G College of Technology, Coimbatore.
- R.Thiyagarajan and V.Anandhan were awarded with 2nd prize in Multimedia contest conducted by IET Student chapter of at MAMCE.
- R.Kannan and R.Umanath secured 3rd prize in chess at Inter-Zonal Tournament.
- C.Vimal Danniel secured 3rd prize in CADD contest.
- R.Kannan won the shield in Cricket at Zonal Tournament at Anna University of Technology, Trichy.
- M.Jawahar, B.Parthipan. B.Noore Thariq secured 3rd prize on "INNOBLAZE" contest for the topic "STAIR CASE" organized by Institution of Engineers in our College.
- M.Radhi Priya, G.Vinodhini, A. Josephin Suganthi, R.Balasubramaniyan, F.Elin Manju Preethi and S.Nandhini were awarded with certificates for having participated to the event "INNOBLAZE" conducted by Institution of Engineers at our college."
- M.Radhi Priya, F.Elin Manju Preethi, M.Jawahar, C.Vimal Danniel and V.Bala Murugan were awarded with certificate for participated in TYSON event by Rotract Club.
- F.Elin Manju Preethi, S.Nandhini, P.Vijayalakshmi, Y.Preethy Dharanya and R. Anuja participated in the Exhibition conducted by Anna University of Technology, Trichy.
- P.Vijayalakshmi is the Cadet of Nation Cadet Corps (NCC) from the year 2010.
- M.Radhi Priya and G.Vinodhini has attended Rally on "BLOOD DONATION" Camp Conducted by MAMCE with KMC Speciality Hospital.
- M.Radhi Priya and G.Vinodhini has attended Rally on "GREEN CITY" conducted by MAMCE with ESHA YOGA.
- S.Nandhini and S.Aravinth has attended Rally on August 15,2011, organized by ECO club by MAMCE.
