Blood Donation Camp

NSS Units of M.A.M College of Engineering along with Doctor's Blood Bank and Research Centre organized a Blood Donation Camp on 9th July 2010 in our college campus. Nearly 81 Volunteers donated their precious blood.

"Suvai - 2010"

NSS units of M.A.M College of Engineering and Tiruchirappalli Travel Federation jointly organized a mega food festival "Suvai - 2010" in Vestry school ground on 13th, 14th & 15th August 2010. Around 140 NSS volunteers rendered their excellent service to make the programme a grand success. This programme was conducted in order to develop Thiruchirapalli as a tourist spot.

Eye Donation Awareness Rally

In order to create awareness among the public about Eye donation a special rally was organized by NSS units of M.A.M College of Engineering. There were 138 volunteers of our NSS units actively participated in the rally and created awareness by issuing pamphlets and rising slogans.

Green Tiruchirappalli Rally

To create awareness among the student community and public about the tree plantation, ISHA foundation organized a rally named "Green rally" on 1st October from Kape.Hr.Sec.School to St.Joseph college. Around 137 volunteers of NSS units of M.A.M College of Engineering participated in the rally and created awareness about global warming and tree plantation. On 2nd October, our volunteers involved in the distribution of saplings to the public.

Pre-republic day parade camp

Government of india, ministry of youth affairs and sports, NSS Regional centre and NSS units of M.A.M College of engineering organized the NSS pre-republic day parade camp from 11th to 20th October, 2010.

There were 200 participants and 10 programme officers from Tamilnadu, Puducherry, Andaman & Nicobar Island, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Karnataka were participated. Mr.K.Vaniaperumal, IG and commissioner of police, Tiruchirappalli inaugurated the camp.


In this ten days programme various special lectures like "NSS is moulding the youth", "employment skills an insight", "Build your life - Build your nation", etc., were conducted. This camp ended with the valedictory address by our Honorable Collector Mr.Mahesan karirajan and Honourable Vice-Chancellor Dr.Meena, Bharathidasan university, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India.

Blood Donation Awareness Rally

NSS units of M.A.M College of engineering organized the blood donation awareness rally in order to create the awareness among public. Around 148 volunteers participated in the rally. The rally started from Kadicraft and ended in the vestry school ground. The volunteers issued the awareness pamphlets.

Pongal Celebration With Foreigners

NSS units of M.A.M College of Engineering and KMC specialty care Tiruchirappalli, jointly organized the rally in order to create awareness about the cause, symptoms and treatment for cancer. On 13th January around 130 NSS volunteers participated in this rally. This rally covered the major parts of the city.

Nss Special Camp

M.A.M COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING and ANNA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, THIRUCHIRAPALLI proudly conducted NSS camp on National welfare held at Thiruvasi dated from 14/02/2011 to 20/02/2011 on the caption "valamaana Indiavirku valamaana ilaya samuthayam" which consisted of three units namely unit(1,2,3).

The camp was successfully started on 14/02/2011 at 5.00pm followed by the welcome address which was presented by R.Kirthika NSS volunteer, MAMCE followed by the people on the dias namely,

Mr.T.T.C.Seran, Head of municipal corporation and
Mr.T.M.Chinnathambi, Head of thiruvasi
gave the inaugural address.

Next on process the camp work was been briefed by Prof C.Arul, Program officer, MAMCE. The special address was given by Mr.M.A.Maluk Mohammed, Principal, MAMCE. And the final address was given by the following people namely
Mr.T.M.Sundarampillai, Thiruvasi,
Mr.T.K.Arumugampillai, Thiruvasi,
Mr.P.Balakrishnan, Head of Parents-Teachers association.

And finally the inauguration function was successfully ended by the vote of thanks given by Prof.L.Jones Nirmal, Program Officer, MAMCE.

Field Work

On the next day the students are divided into five teams and several field works are given for them.

On 15/02/2011 the census was taken throughout the village and finally the total population was calculated. And at the evening awareness program was conducted for the welfare of people by our special guest Mr.P.Vijayakumar, AMIRTHAM yoga centre,on the caption "yoga payirchi matrum vizhipunarvu". In that program awareness was given and he taught some yoga's which was more useful for all. And the special guest for the program was Prof.J.William H.O.D of department of ECE, MAMCE.

On 16/02/2011 the Thudaiyur kalinga perumal temple was cleaned completely by our students. And the village library was also cleaned completely. And at the evening the special guest for the day was Prof.P.Muthusivam Department of English, MAMCE on the topic "UYARKALVI MATRUM VELAIVAAIPPU" and the lecture given by him was very much useful for the students and the people of Thiruvasi. And the volunteer guest for the program was Prof.S.Ravimaran Department of computer science MAMCE.

On 17/02/2011 The field work given was to construct the toilet for Thiruvasi higher secondary school and it was done. And the Thiruvasi School was cleaned by our students. For the evening session an awareness program was conducted by our special guest Prof.S.Seenivasan on the caption "EYE DONATION". And the volunteer guest was Dr.S.Titus H.O.D Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, MAMCE and the people of Thiruvasi.

On 18/02/2011 several sports activities were conducted for the people of Thiruvasi. A special blood donation camp was conducted and many NSS volunteers donated blood and the people of Thiruvasi also donated blood in that blood donation camp and At the evening the AIDS awareness program was conducted by "ANBALAYAM" and co. And the volunteer guest was Dr.N.Baskar HOD of mechanical engineering, MAMCE and the people of Thiruvasi.

On 19/02/2011 the field work was to clean the temple and a special medical camp was conducted. For the evening session the chief guest was Dr.N.Saravanakumaran BSMS and he gave awareness about cancer. And on the last day of camp the welcome address was given by Prof.R.Rameshkumar, Program officer, MAMCE. And the camp report was read by srivignesh NSS student on behalf of Mr.T.T.C.Seran and was headed by Mr.M.Abdul majeed Head, MAM group of institutions. And finally the vote of thanks was given by Prof.L.Jonesnirmal, Program officer, MAMCE.

Forest Day Celebration

NSS units of M.A.M college of Engineering, Tiruchirappalli successfully celebrated the forest day on 21st march by Planting samplings on the college campus. Around 100 volunteers participated and planted 50 samplings.

Blood Donation Camp

Blood donation camp was conducted in our college by the victory blood bank on 22nd march. Around 180 donors donated their blood.

Campus Cleaning

A team of 50 NSS volunteers cleaned our campus for 2 days in order to create awareness among the student regarding environmental cleanliness.

Short Films

Our NSS volunteers produced many short films which created awareness for the people. The short films are namely,

  • AIDS awareness







Blood Donation At Emergency Condition

Our NSS volunteers donated their blood for the emergency patients who were in need of blood at various hospitals such as KMC, SRM, GH, etc.,
