Student's Exnora

  • The Students’ Exnora was inaugurated in our college on 7 th March 2006, with the gracious presence of Mr. B. Nirmal, Founder Chairman of the Exnora International. It was presided over by our respected Director Dr. V. Shanmuganathan and our respected Principal Dr. M. A. Maluk Mohamed.The office bearers took oath in the presence of Founder Chairman. The office bearers meet periodically to discuss the further activities of the club.
  • On 19 th Sep.2006 an Awareness Program was held with Mr. P. Mohan, Director of youth students’ Exnora, Trichy and a special speaker gave the guest lecture on the general environment protection.
  • The students’ Exnora and N.S.S volunteers joined together and planted 1200 saplings in our college campus on 7 th Oct.2006 in the presence of the respected “District Collector Mr. Asish Vachani” and he facilitated the event.
  • Our college Exnora student volunteers attended a one day workshop in “Building youth for a Brave New World” conducted by the Exnora on 3 rd Feb 2007, at Holy Cross College, Trichy.
  • A seminar was conducted in our college campus for non-exnorans on the topic Leadership and Environment. The students’ attended the one day workshop and explained to the other students’ about the activities to be carried out in our college to keep “Green and Clean”.
  • For the academic year Apr 2007 Students’ Exnora was inaugurated on 14 th Aug 2007 by Mr. V. T. Kandasamy IFS, Deputy Conservator of Forest (Social Forestry), Trichy and planted saplings in the college premises.
  • Our college has received an “Outstanding Clean and Green Award” from Trichy District Youth and Students’ Exnora on the occasion of its 10 th year celebration that held at Seva Sangam Girls Higher Sec. School, Trichy.
  • A leadership programme was conducted by Mr. P. Mohan on the topic “Build YourConfidence” for the first year students’ in our college during Aug 2007.
  • 20 member of students’ Exnora and non-exnorans had participated in one day workshop on the topic “Global Warming” held at Cauvery Collge for Women on 16 th Oct 2007.
  • About 9 hoardings depicting the slogan of Exnora were erected in our campus apart from planting of tree saplings by Mr. K. Balamurugan, Regional Passport Officer, Trichy on 18 th Feb 2011, during the inauguration of students’ Exnora.
