In this academic year 2008-09, the MBA programme of this institution was started with approval of AICTE and affiliation of Anna University Tiruchirappalli for its MBA programme. The overall aim of MBA course is to develop the analytical and strategic management skills of students, using concepts derived from a wide range of academic disciplines, enabling them to respond creatively and effectively to the challenges of the global business environment. Increasingly, ambitious managers are recognizing the value of creating a point of differentiation for themselves through post-experience personal and professional development. Moreover, enlightened employers recognize the need to invest in the quality of their managers to ensure continued organizational competitiveness. However, ambitious managers and enlightened employers in the region have had limited practical access to the best recognized form of strategic management development.
The emphasis of our MBA programme – in terms of content and methodology – is stimulating budding managers to enquire intelligently about the nature and scope of management responsibility and to develop an understanding of the critical importance of innovation in successful economies and the pertinence of the innovation process to organizational parameters for adaptability and change, individual creativity and multidisciplinary teamwork.
The infrastructure of our MBA programme at MAMCE squeezes hi-tech and well equipped libraries and English language laboratory. Customary evaluation of teaching methods and in house training to faculties craft the MBA Department to achieve the academic excellence. The mission to develop professionals with excellence is achievable due to the slam care, discipline and high academic standards, excellent schooling opportunities, and state of the art infrastructure that are accessible in the MBA Department. It has been budding by leaps and bounds in imparting value based management education.
